FITNESS FOR MUMS BY A MUM
Buggycise is a class based outside and generally involves exercising whilst your baby is in their buggy. Not only does this mean no babysitting it also means that your baby will benefit from that all important bit of fresh air.
Each class follows a circuit laid out within the area starting with a warm up helping to prepare the body for some toning and strengthening exercises which are mixed in with a bit of cardio, and ending with a cool down and stretch to help ease any achy bits. The classes run in both sunshine and rain and with the latter are conducted in as much shelter as possible, so don't forget you rain covers.
There are no specialist buggies needed for the class. As long as your baby is comfortable and the handles are at the right height for you, you can use your own buggy.
You can attend these classes once you have been signed off by your midwife (Post birth: 6 weeks - natural birth, or 12 weeks - caesarean).
